Policies
Transportation Policies:
Students will not be permitted to ride to camp on the MLBA shuttle unless Camp Registration has been completed prior to the day of camp.
Students may receive transportation to and from camp from the MLBA shuttle, their church van/carpool, or a parent. If the method of transportation HOME provided on their registration form needs to change for any reason, the director should be notified by the student’s parent.
Mandated Reporter Policy:
All camp staff MUST report anything related to neglect/abuse to camp directors and may be asked/required to complete online hotline report.
Pool Policy:
For both kids and youth camps, there must be 2 male leaders and 2 female leaders supervising the pool, in addition to the lifeguard, at all times.
Dress Code:
Shorts must be fingertip length. Tank tops must be 2 fingers thick (no spaghetti straps). Girls swimsuits must be modest, including covering the stomach. Basic rule: Raise your hands and touch your toes, if anything shows go change your clothes! There is a tub of clothes that students may borrow, and may be asked to wear, if they do not have any clean or appropriate clothes to wear.
Phone Policy:
We ask that leaders have their phones with them at all times, while still being engaged with campers. If students bring their phones to camp- they are to be left in cabins during the day. Campers can be on phones during afternoon cabin down time, or evening cabin time (not during devotions). We want campers to be free from all distractions while they are here at camp.
Procedures
The Rule of 3:

Our goal is to be proactive in practicing responsible & healthy staff/camper relationships by always having at least 2 campers (or a camper and an additional leader) with them at all times. Campers must follow this same procedure of having 2 or more people with them when going around campus.
